The Flow 🏝️
Phase 1: The Smiling Coast (Gambia)
- Day 1: Welcome Home. Land in Banjul and melt into luxury at our beach side haven of a hotel. We kick things off with a sunset dinner to toast to the journey ahead.
- Day 2: Wild Hearts & Exploration. Start your day immersed in nature at the Monkey Forest, wandering through lush trails filled with Western Red Colobus and Green Vervet monkeys, before heading to the sacred Kachikally Crocodile Pool to meet its ancient, scaly residents and explore the local museum. For lunch, savor the authentic flavors of The Gambia at Kadi Kadi, then transition to a perfectly relaxed evening with your toes in the sand and a drink in hand at Solomon’s Beach Bar.
- Day 3: Coastal Flavours of The Smiling Coast. Elevate your journey by stepping into a vibrant local kitchen for the cooking class of a lifetime, where you’ll grind fresh spices and master the soulful art of authentic Gambian flavors. After a wholesome start to the day, the afternoon is yours—poolside cocktails or a nap under the palms? You choose how to spend a final blessed day in Gambia.
Phase 2: The Lion’s Pride (Crossing into Senegal)
- Day 4: The Great Road Trip. We’re hopping the ferry and crossing the border for a literal Lion Walk at Fathala Reserve – bucket list moment much?! Then, we hit the road to Dakar – West Africa’s home of Terranga, and check into our cosmopolitan and sheek city stay for the next few nights.
Phase 3: Art, Soul & Islands (Dakar)
- Day 5: City of Lights. After a much needed lie-in after a full day of travel, we start the early afternoon admiring the view and learning about the iconic African Renaissance Monument, find peace at the Mosque of Divinity, and shop for treasures and stunning souvenirs at Soumbedioune market. We’ll cap it off with a boat ride to Ngor Island for fresh seafood and optional surf lessons.
- Day 6: Island Time. A poignant and beautiful visit to Gorée Island, followed by a street food crawl and some legendary vibes at Surfers Paradise.
Phase 4: The Pink Lake & The Deep Desert
- Day 7: Pink Water & Orange Dunes. Marvel at the surreal strawberry hues of Lac Rose before we head into the Lompoul Desert. Tonight? We sleep under a canopy of a billion stars in luxury desert tents.
- Day 8: Reflections. A scenic drive to the sultry town of Saly for a well-earned beach day. Relax, shop, or just soak in the final sunset, with a final overnight stay together at a beachside boutique in town.
- Day 9: Till Next Time. We head to the airport with full hearts, sandy shoes, and a whole new family of travelers.
